Worship artisanship

This is really worth reflecting on further and I’d link it with the book ‘Curating Worship‘ which reflects on the role of leading worship from the points of view of the various types of curators. Particularly applicable to liquid worship, of course. However, the art curator is not so far from this and Dan Wilt’s idea here:

A Worship Artisan is a vocational (meaning “called”) spiritual leader who evidences his or her primary leadership gifts through the creative arts…

is not so far from noting how the role of curator and artist can be very blurred. But also noting that liturgy has many characteristics of art and that art should be part of the language we speak with God.
